Monitoring Zarafa with Nagios

The email environment is for most organisations one of the mission critical systems, therefore it's strongly advised to monitor the health of the server and the processes.

This wiki article will give an overview of the important services to monitor and how the Zarafa services can be checked with the Nagios monitoring tools.

The following items should be monitored on a Zarafa server:

  • Disk usage
  • CPU usage
  • IO usage
  • Status of MySQL server process
  • Status of Postfix process
  • Status of Apache process
  • Status of Zarafa services
