The MDM plugin allows users to administrate their own mobile devices over the Webaccess.
It is possible to see when a mobile was synchronized and what it's general status is.
Over the plugin it is also possible to request a remove wipe.
When you have Zarafa running on your server you have to put the MDM package in the plugin folder of your WebAccess directory.

To install this plugin you have to place the mdm files in the plugin directory of WebAccess.

But first we need to install php-soap.

Ubuntu/Debian:
$ sudo apt-get install php-soap
RHEL/CentOS:
$ su yum install php-soap

Now it is time to copy the MDM files to right place on your server.

Normally the path will be:

$ /usr/share/zarafa-webaccess

Here you will find a directory called "plugins".

Unzip the download zip file there so the directory called mdm is in the plugins folder.

It should look like this:

$ /usr/share/zarafa-webaccess/plugins/mdm/

Now it is time to edit the config file to your needs. I am using vi but you can also use nano etc.

$ vi /usr/share/zarafa-webaccess/plugins/mdm/config.php

Around line 56 you will find the following option:

// Enable to run Plugin for Z-Push 2
$GLOBALS['pluginconfig']['mdm']['zpush-2'] = false;

Be sure if you use Z-Push 2.0 to change it to true. It should be like this:

// Enable to run Plugin for Z-Push 2
$GLOBALS['pluginconfig']['mdm']['zpush-2'] = true;

At line 62 you will find the settings for using https/http So if you are using a https for you WebAccess be sure to change this setting:

$GLOBALS['pluginconfig']['mdm']['zpush-url'] = "https://localhost";

Save your config.php!

When this is done the only thing you have to do is restart your Apache2.

$ /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

The installation is ready and the plugin is visible in the WebAccess webinterface.
