In 2010, Bouke Koelstra joined Capgemini. But, he has gained his first experience with open source in 2004 when he was closely involved in the project called A7. Later, Bouke also contributed to OSOSS; a government program that aimed to provide information about open source software. Then, he ran into Zarafa frequently, which currently still is the fastest growing groupware platform within Dutch government organizations. At this moment, Bouke works at Gapgemini Infrastructure. He is now busy with setting up an Open Source Cloud Workplace. This year, its clients will be able to purchase a complete environment, consisting of open source software and open standards, in a 'pay per use' model. Zarafa as a Service will be one of the main components.

Since 1998, Freek used open source software. Many years he even has exclusively used FLOSS. In 2005, he joined Inter Access in Hilversum (NL) as a Linux nerd. At this company, he has set up a business unit of 14FTE which focused on the delivery of infrastructural open source solutions. In 2009, Freek exchanged Inter Access for Accretus to become a recruiter of ‘ethical hackers’ and open source specialists. After approximately 2 years, his favorite customer ITQ Consultancy approached him to learn whether he was interested in assuming the responsibility for its Security Unit and to expand the business. Nowadays, Freek is still working for ITQ and is also available for IT infrastructure open source & security assignments.

Also he is a contributing member for the Digital Inclusion Strategy for Limerick City which aims to promote, support and deliver collaborative and innovative approaches to the use of ICT in Communities at risk of digital exclusion.   After his graduation as a Software Engineer from “Stefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, Romania, Mr. Bilauca continued his studies in University of Limerick Ireland where he obtained his Master of Science degree in Computer Science and where he is currently finalizing his PhD thesis on combinatorial optimization. He has published scientific papers at various Document Engineering conferences organized by the Association for Computing Machinery in Manchester, United Kingdom and Mountain View, California.

Later on in 1993 he established the Internet Service Provider (ISP) operations of the company providing Internet access to corporate customers in South Germany (delix provided Internet access through redundant 155Mbps ATM fiber networks at that time). Mache served as Director of Development for Red Hat Inc. leading the development of Red Hat Linux in Germany. He is the co-founder and CEO of the European software company struktur AG in Stuttgart, Germany. With the web meeting product Spreed (http://www.Spreed.com), the company offers Unified Communication & Collaboration software and devices. Mache got awards from the Young Scientist Award (“Jugend Forscht”), German Academy Software and from the US MasPar Computer Inc. for his excellence in Massive Parallel Computing. He holds a number of defensive patents. His issued patent holdings are in areas including: encryption technology, distributed communication systems and business data analysis.
