Bart Lindeboom
Bart Lindeboom is Director ICT at City Council Ede. He is head of department "Informatievoorziening en Automatisering" at City Council Ede. Ede is one of the 25 largest City Councils in the Netherlands. His past roles have included IT manager and ICT Policy consultant at Education Organisations and City Councils at the edge of execution and strategy. Ede is one of the Front runners in execution of the Dutch Public sector policy on Open Source and Open Standards Plan.
Bart Lindenboom will explain the design and rollout of the Open Workplace at the City Council Ede. According to Bart Lindeboom City Council Ede is evaluating in a rational way open source applications. This often turns out to be the best choice. Part of the Open Workplace is the unlimited availability of email without quota. To realize efficient storage in the virtualized infrastructure, Ede integrates Zarafa Archiver in its design
